For Fire Rated Equipment This is a Legal Requirement
It is a legal requirement to regularly maintain all fire rated curtains and equipment under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) BS9999:2019 Code of Practice for fire safety in the design, construction and use of buildings. Preventative maintenance and regular inspection is also a critical component of any fire safety and evacuation programme.
